Dubai's biggest food festival, Taste of Dubai, returns in February 2027, and Elite Horizon will be right in the middle of it. Once again we are sponsoring the firewood and charcoal for the fire pit, and our team will be in our own chalet with some of our range, ready to chat BBQ all day long.

What is Taste of Dubai?
Taste of Dubai is a three-day celebration of food, drink and music that brings around 16 of the city's top restaurants together in one place. Each serves three to five tasting-sized dishes created for the festival, so you can graze your way around the city's best kitchens in a single afternoon. The 2026 edition welcomed an estimated 27,000 visitors over the weekend.
The festival is known for its chef line-ups. Past editions have featured names including Marco Pierre White, Gino D'Acampo, Rachel Allen and Matt Preston, as well as live-fire specialists such as our friend Fred Casagrande of Smoking Beards. Alongside the demos there are hands-on workshops, live music and DJ sets, and plenty for families, from kids' cooking classes to play areas.
Fuelling the fire pit
The fire pit is where chefs and pitmasters cook over open flame in front of the crowd, and it needs fuel that performs every time. That is our job. We supply:
- Bad Axe firewood: low-moisture hardwoods that light fast, burn hot and give a clean, steady flame. Choose from oak, beech, olive, cherry, hickory and more.
- Pure Fire charcoal: natural hardwood charcoal with high heat, low ash and a long burn, used by restaurants and hotels across the UAE.
Our history at Taste of Dubai
We have been part of the Taste festivals for years, supplying the fire pit at both Taste of Abu Dhabi and Taste of Dubai. At Taste of Dubai 2025 we sponsored the fire pit and BBQ school, working alongside Exit 10 BBQs and smokers and chefs including Hattem Mattar. You can catch up on that weekend in Elite Horizon Fuels the Fire at Taste of Dubai.
Come and talk BBQ
Our chalet is the place to stop between tastings. Ask us anything: how to build a fire that lasts, which wood to pair with lamb, beef or fish, how to get the best from a kamado, or what to look for in a new grill. If you are in the trade, we would love to talk about supplying your kitchen with firewood and charcoal you can rely on.
Keep an eye on this page and our social channels for dates and ticket links. See you at the fire pit.
