We were proud to support Padel One’s PINKtober afternoon on Saturday, an event that brought together sport, community and an important message about breast cancer screening.

With a Moya bottle in hand for every player who came through the club, the afternoon was about more than padel. It was about creating an easy, welcoming opportunity for people to take a meaningful step for their health while enjoying time with friends and the wider community.

A day that made a real difference
The response was incredible:

• More than 150 people came through the doors
• More than 30 women were screened for breast cancer on site
• AED 15,000 was raised for the Al Jalila Foundation

The screening number is the one that stays with us most. More than 30 women came for an afternoon of padel and left having been checked, and many may never have booked a separate appointment.

That is what events like this do so well: they bring important health services and conversations to places where people already are. By making screening more accessible and part of a positive community experience, Padel One’s PINKtober afternoon helped turn awareness into action.

Supporting a cause that matters
This is another breast cancer initiative we have been glad to support, and it will not be the last. We believe partnerships are at their most meaningful when they bring people together around something that can have a lasting impact.

A huge thank you to Léo Periol and the entire Padel One team for making the afternoon happen, and to everyone who played, donated and took the time to get checked. Your participation helped make the event a success, and helped put prevention at the centre of the day.

If you have been putting off your own breast cancer screening, take this as your reminder to book it. A small appointment can make a meaningful difference.
